What Can Chiropractic Care do for you?
If you have never been to a chiropractor before you may have heard that we treat back pain. In fact we are generally synonymous with back pain. It could be its own sentence: chiropractor back pain. Ok, maybe not… But it is true.
We do treat all different kinds of back pain caused by all sorts of different reasons. In fact, we are quickly (and finally) becoming the number one and first referral for back pain from family doctors. We are way better at getting you out of pain and keeping it gone than most if not all medications, and with the Opioid crisis the medical community is fast acknowledging the fact that chiropractic care is one of the most effective for back pain!
Do chiropractors just do back pain?
Gosh no. People usually find a chiropractor because they are in some sort of pain – it is true.
We treat all sorts of painful conditions from headaches, to neck pain, shoulder pain, knees and toes (yes I just did head and shoulders, knees and toes – but I did that to illustrate my point – if you have a painful part, ask me about it I probably have some ideas about how we can fix it). Once you are feeling less or no pain us chiropractors pride ourselves on keeping you well, long term. We call this chiropractic wellness – so if you are looking for chiropractic wellness in North York please come see us!
About Dr. Karen Hudes, Chiropractor
Dr. Karen Hudes is a chiropractor who has been in practice since the beginning of 2001. She is a mom to an 13 year old boy (Leo), wife, sometimes runner, baker, hockey mom, wonder woman wannabe, and Badass chiropractor. Yes, its me, Dr. Karen, writing this.
Badass chiropractic is the nickname in my head I have had for my clinic for several years. It makes me feel empowered and strong and helps me pass that along to my patients. Guess what? in December 2020 we decided to go with it and rename the clinic Badass Chiropractic and Wellness (or BAC Wellness for short or for the faint of heart). In our move to Continuum we will go back to using the nickname Badass chiro but we will never drop it! I am so lucky in life because I get to do the job I was meant to do – I love my work and my patients and pride myself on creating individualized programs, goals and personal relationships with each of my patients.
I want the best for each of them and my goal is for all of them to be pain free and healthy as long as possible. I hope this section gives you a tiny window into my personality more so than Google keywords like chiropractor North York or chiropractor Yonge and Sheppard and Lawrence Park chiropractor (which may actually be why you stumbled across my page in the first place!)
